Great Ambience. Usually a bit of a wait at the front even if you have a reservation. Not sure what that's about. But the food is always good and well paced. Staff if usually friendly and attentive.

Came here over the weekend because we didn't want to wait for Javier's before our movie date. So glad we did! We sat at the bar and received great service. The decor was cute and felt italian not the middle of irvine. We ordered the following - Smoke & flowers cocktail That's amore cocktail Italian chopped salad Red wine braised short rub mafaldine Rigatoni bolognese We LOVED every single dish. Drinks were on point but the pastas were a huge stand out. Have already been craving going back. We saw other people's orders and everything looked delicious - fries looked really good and generous portions. Will be trying some pizzas next time.

This restaurant is currently my favorite Italian place to eat at. I usually order a pizza, a pasta, and the truffle fries. The truffle fries are the best fries I've ever had. I've also tried the mushroom pizza and the hot honey pepperoni pizza; both were very delicious. The rigatoni is flavorful but is a big of a small portion size if you're looking to sure with someone. The service is excellent. The servers are always checking in to see if you need anything else. The restaurant's ambiance is also really nice with an indoor and an outdoor seating that is decorated really well.

It was very busy on a Saturday night around 8pm, however, we were able to find a seat at the bar. A bar back noticed us and immediately came over to wipe down the tabletop. Despite being busy, we received excellent service from our bartender. He was friendly and timely as well. My husband and I each ordered a glass of wine. They have a nice selection of Italian wines, and the two we ordered were delicious. My glass of vermentino went really well with the artichoke and pancetta ravioli. My husband ordered the rigatoni bolognese and a glass of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. We had some after dinner we cocktails as well. I tried That's amore, their pistachio vodka based drink, and my husband had an espresso martini - very tasty! Overall this is a great Italian place. We are from out of town, but we would definitely love to come back when we visit again. It seems like a great spot for a romantic date night.

Ughhh I'm so torn. I knocked off a star mainly bc of the tipping situation. When they charge you in the end they give the card machine to you face to face and of course you're pressured to give the tip right then and there and the ONLY options are 20%, 25% and 30%....I mean the tipping in this country is literally insane. We're already in an inflation but yea...... Anywayssss. Other than that. The food, the drinks, the ambience, the setup of the restaurant is amazing! You can bring dogs if you want too to the outside patio or enjoy the decorative romantic vibe seating indoors. The food is sooooo good, I highly recommend the octopus for an app and the rigatoni bolognese!! I really wanted to try the squidink linguini, but they ran out of clams so I was so bummed, I'll definitely come back and try it again. The kids menu is super cute too, and their dough for their pizzas are sooo good and can tell it's made from scratch along with their noodles for their pastas. Buttered pasta and cheese pizza for the kids were such a hit for my daughters. Location is right next to tender greens, across the regal theaters and neighbor to sprinkles.

I had a reservation Friday night for two on the patio and they accommodated us right away on their heated patio which was a great choice! The food was great! And our server Sophia was the best! She always made sure our table was clean and checked up on us if we needed anything, she has such a friendly and exciting personality it was great to see a server that really enjoyed their job because you can definitely tell she loves what she does! The place itself is also very beautiful and rustic.

My friend celebrated her birthday here and it really was one to remember. The food: Out of the 7 of us, probably 5 of us ordered the short rib mafaldine. Let me say, 5 of us ordered the right thing! The pasta was so flavorful and full of fresh ingredients - I'd come back and reorder the same thing again. The other two of us ordered the torchio alla norma. We wanted to add protein to the torchio alla norma, but there weren't many options that they offered to us - just add chicken. Since it was happy hour, we ordered the margherita pizza and some fries. Those were pretty decent. To end on a sweet note, we split the tiramisu and chocolate budino. Super tasty desserts! The service: Our server seemed like a nice man. However, he did seem a bit unaccommodating and made several snide remarks when we asked him simple questions such as turning on the outdoor heaters, which protein options did we have, etc. Maybe it was an off day for him. The ambiance: It is DARK in here. I get the moody vibe that they're creating but man, once nighttime hit, I could NOT see ANYBODY at the table or around me.
